Tooth Whitening Options
Based
on your individual needs, you may choose one of many procedures to
whiten your teeth. One method is performed in our dental office in one
visit of about an hour.
You can obtain even more dramatic and longer lasting results through our dentist-supervised at-home bleaching. Your teeth are whitened by custom-made trays you wear for about two hours per day for about two to four weeks. This system tends to be longer lasting than the one-visit system and allows you to do periodic touch-ups, which will keep your new smile bright for many years.
We will look at your teeth at an examination appointment and discuss what system of tooth whitening may be best for you. He will also carefully check to see if there is any tooth decay, gum problems, or existing dental restorations that may need attention before your teeth are ready to bleach.
